The problem with Traditional Locknuts

Traditional steel locknuts rely on physical distortion, known as “crimping”, to provide locking torque. This concentrates stress at specific locations increasing the risk of Failure and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from nut fractures and limiting reusability.
